I have been training with Matt once a week for about 4 months, and this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a 52-year-old who has run marathons and taken fitness classes regularly, I had started to lose motivation, become more sedentary, and felt a bit “stuck”. With Matt’s guidance and teaching, I have switched focus to lifting heavier weights which has resulted in gaining strength and tone, losing fat and most important, regaining my interest and motivation. I had never used barbells before, and Matt has taught me to safely barbell squat, deadlift and bench press among other exercises. I have a high bar and would not have continued if Matt didn’t meet this standard. He is knowledgeable, professional, motivating, responsive and patient. The investment in myself and my health has been worth it, and I would highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
